UNIQUE Trailer Art for Sale!
|
I have received a number of letters from visitors to my website. Here are a few of my favorites:
Hello again, Paige!
My wife absolutely loved the Airstream trailer Christmas scene! It
may
have been her favorite gift this year! Had I known that, I might
have
reconsidered on at least one of the two, large Persian rugs I bought her.
Jeesh! She thought the rugs were terrific, but every so often she'd
go
over and pick up the print from you and study it some more. It was
an
incredible hit. It's even more special because our 1968 Airstream
Caravel-- which is just a foot longer than a Bambi-- looks so much like
the one in your painting. She plans to hang it in the house, and
then
take it with us when we go camping so she can have it in the trailer.
Thank you, again, so much. You really made Christmas for a couple
of
people in Colorado (who appear to be about your age,,,and I DID attend
Woodstock, so I WAS a bit of a hippie!)).
Your new web site is great...really awesome. It loads up fast, the
artwork is superb, and you have just the right amount of useful, pertinent
information. I know that I will be in touch with you for additional
prints in the future.
I left my 23-yr career as a research entomologist for the USDA (and the
University of Wyoming) so I could plant a vineyard in western Colorado.
We planted our first 2 acres this past Spring, and will be planting more
over the next few years. My wife is a pharmacist (which means,
right now,
that I am a "kept man") and that's what is enabling me to pursue
grape-growing and still enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.
I really admire you for all the work you've done in refurbishing your
studio, creating a first-rate web site, raising your kids and still having
a career... and, of course, we love your painting style.
Thank you for touching so many people with your creative genius.
Best wishes for the holidays,
Richard Nunamaker
Oh Paige you brought a tear to my eye. First with seeing your great
photo and then reading about my Fiance's gift (now husband). This
is a wonderful web site, one that I will pass on to many. I
absolutely love your trailer art, as you know, and was thrilled to see your
other work which is just as great. I have not seen a site that I've enjoyed
more. Congratulations & best wishes for the New Year! Fondly,
Donna Friar
Paige, I am the founder of the Serro Scotty Camper Enthusiasts Group in Yahoo. The painting that you have done for the Serro Scotty Camper is the best. I encourage any member of this Group to get in touch with Paige and order at least 1 from her. They will look great in your Scotty or your den.

Note: Scotty Al has since gone on to be with the Lord. You have the best destination site I have experienced on Ebay. Not only do you have trailers, paintings, and churches, but your website is a delight with all of the Christian witness. We too, are Christians, and it is good to meet fellow believers in this manner.
Best wishes, Robert & Jodie Eden
Hi, Paige:
My name is Bill Ramsey. I work with P.A. Geddie on her
newspaper, the County Line, as managing editor and
graphic designer. I'm doing a feature story on trailer
lifeliving in them, the iconography, artwork, First
Monday trailer village, etc.-and wanted to contact
you for an interview and request some of your trailer
art for use in the magazine and on the cover of our
next issue. Let me know when a good time would be for
you. Friday or the weekend is good with me.
Sincerely,
Bill
Hello
Mrs. Bridges,
Your work makes me smile from the inside out. It warms the
heart and settles the spirit. Thank you so much for sharing
your amazing talent with all of us!

Wow! Am I impressed. And just to think I knew you when you were a junior high cheerleader. Delighted to see that you're doing so well. Will send e-mail personally later. Nancy Wallace
Hi Paige,
My name is Julie Bruce and I work in Advertising
for TL Enterprises. In scanning our new December issue of
Highways, I spotted your wonderful renditions of time gone
by. I went straight to your website and have enjoyed my visit
very much. :)
I was originally looking for a specific article that a customer had called
about. It was fun to
escape work for a few minutes and travel with you
and your pictures...
Thank you!

Great artwork on the vintage trailers! Are they all available in card form? I am a sales representative for posters/prints and cards in the Western Pennsylvania area and would like to talk with you about selling your work. Ron Furnival
When I was a child we migrated from Oklahoma and were too busy trying to
stay alive to bother with documenting the mass migration to California.
Dorothea Lang did so under contract with WPA and her works are a timeless
reminder. I was working in Engineering during the "Hippie" era,
that would have been a wondrous time to document, all the colorful
characters and costumes, but often we can't see the forest for the trees.
Later I left Engineering and studied Communications, settling as a fine
art Photographer, and only then did I begin to realize all the colorful
times I had seen but not documented. My congrats for your ability to
recognize a "Decisive Time" and secure it for historical and
artistic posterity. mr_ed@toast.net
Hello,
I very much enjoyed your art of vintage trailers. I travel in a small
converted van so appreciate the limits of space. You have done a
remarkable job on your web page for a first effort. I never would have
guessed.
Not only do I like the vintage trailer art, but also your boldness to express
your faith in Jesus Christ. God bless you and keep up good work in your
faith!
Russell
I think your web site in just beautiful. As we are
into our 48th. year of camping, we are very familiar with the vintage
campers. We have owned 6 trailers and 2 motor homes. Our latest a 32 ft.
Coachmen. What a wonderful article about you in the Dec. issue of Highways.
We spend 4 of the winter months traveling in Fl. and are just now catching
up on reading our Highways. I will send your web site to many of our former
camping friends who no longer camp due to death of their partner but I KNOW
they will love seeing your wonderful paintings. Once a camper, always a
camper. What wonderful memories you must have from past years. Do you
still have time for camping? I hope so.
May this year be your best year yet.
Happy painting and camping,
Ellie pec99@juno.com
You are such a talented artist. I love the vintage travel trailers and you have captured so well a piece of vanishing Americana.
Julia
Hi, My name is Bob Zander. My wife Gail and I live in NE Florida near Jacksonville.
I found your site while checking out the
Vintage Camper goodies on the web. I really love your old camper
art. I am a vintage camper buff myself. Please check out our web
site at
www.AmericaByRV.com - click on
the vintage camper link and you'll see my little project rig.
I also noticed that you have a 37' 4 slide
front living room 5th wheel. We bought a Fleetwood Prowler in Feb.
04 it has 4 slides and a front living room but it's only 36 1/2 feet
long. If we can ever get all the bugs worked out we'll love it. This
is our 3rd camper and we bought our first tag-a-long 6 years ago.
Sound familiar
When I get my retro-rig restored I may be
interested in a painting. I plan to show it and having its
"portrait" would be pretty cool.
Would love to hear from you if you get the
chance. We have met some wonderful Christian people while traveling
and enjoyed reading about your church.
Sincerely,
Bob Zander
From a fellow eBayer: Dear Paige, I happened upon your art work in another search. It's just SUPERB! As a 19 year veteran teacher of fine arts in NYC and having studied at some of the best schools, myself...I know of what I speak. Now, which rendering do I like best? Hmmm....a very difficult decision..! Touche! Geoff
